Working closely with Charters Towers Regional Council, Delos Delta is designing and implementing the Charters Towers Economic Development & Innovation Strategy.

The Strategy is informed by comprehensive economic analysis of the Charters Towers region and in-depth engagement with the community and key industry stakeholders.  The Strategy aims to leverage the region’s diverse strengths and build economic resilience.

Charters Towers understands innovation and economic development are connected and so has opted for an integrated Strategy.  The Strategy was also developed alongside the Charters Towers Destination Management Plan, which focuses on the role of tourism in driving economic growth.

The Economic Development & Innovation Strategy was adopted by Council on 15 September 2020.
