The Glen Eira Smart City Roadmap released in April 2022 and was developed with Delos Delta in collaboration with Glen Eira City Council, the community, and local stakeholders.  

The Roadmap provides direction for the ways in which the city can use data, enhance connectivity, and improve digital technology to deliver improved services with greater efficiencies to the Glen Eira community.  Some smart cities opportunities outlined in the Roadmap include developing a 3D digital city model, enhancing local digital communication networks, and delivering digital skills training.

This Roadmap has been developed with staff and community engagement at the forefront.  Delos Delta facilitated workshops, surveys, interviews, and roundtable discussions with Council staff, external stakeholders, and the wider Glen Eira community.  Despite the engagement sessions occurring during the COVID-19 outbreak and lockdown in Melbourne, the sessions still produced productive and insightful results.

This Roadmap was adopted by Council on 21st of February 2022.
