Central Coast Council
DRAFT Economic Development Strategy and Economic Recovery & Resilience Framework 2020-2026
Delos Delta in collaboration with Central Coast Council is delivering the Central Coast Economic Development Strategy 2020-2026 and Economic Recovery & Resilience Framework.
Economic Development Strategy 2020-2026
The Economic Development Strategy articulates the Central Coast’s long-term economic goals.
It assesses the region’s economic strengths and weaknesses and creates a clear pathway to economic growth as informed by these challenges and opportunities.
The Strategy works together with the Recovery and Resilience Framework to provide a cohesive vision for the Central Coast economy in years to come
“These plans are designed to ensure our local economy bounces back quickly in the short-term, fulfills its potential in the long-term, and is resilient enough to handle difficult times when they do hit” said Central Coast Council’s Mayor Lisa Matthews.
The Strategy was exhibited in June and July 2020. It is currently awaiting Council endorsement.
Economic Recovery & Resilience Framework
The Economic Recovery & Resilience Framework provides a structured means of responding to the economic challenges presented by COVID-19. The Framework affirms council’s commitment to innovation, growth and community support during times of crisis.
The draft Economic Recovery and Resilience Framework and the revised Draft Economic Development Strategy were presented to Council on the 9 June 2020 and were endorsed for public exhibition.
