Regional Development Australia Loddon Mallee
Industry 4.0 Investment and Business Prospectus
Delos Delta worked with Regional Development Australia Loddon Mallee (RDALM) to develop and deliver an Industry 4.0 Business and Investment Prospectus.
The Prospectus sought to support RDALM to understand the potential impact of Industry 4.0 activity on the Loddon Mallee region, and the potential for further integration of cyber-physical systems.
The Prospectus and accompanying Action Plan will ensure the Loddon Mallee region continues to strengthen its existing and emerging clusters of Industry 4.0 activity, looking towards the future to ensure continued, long-term benefits.
In collaboration with RDALM, we delivered a detailed maturity assessment, which identified the Loddon Mallee’s competitive business advantages, clusters of Industry 4.0 activity by location and sector, as well as current Industry 4.0 jobs in the region. Key processes incorporated within the maturity assessment included:
- Industry and stakeholder engagement
- Global trend analysis
- Local Government Area (LGA) benchmarking, including an assessment of economic foundations, regional readiness, and current state skills, education, and jobs
- Industry 4.0 jobs analysis
The Prospectus then showcased this information to associated industry groups and research institutions, highlighting the region’s excellence and eagerness to pursue advances in this area. Key areas of Industry 4.0 identified by Delos Delta through its Prospectus analysis include:
- Advanced manufacturing
- Digital health
- Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven agriculture
The Action Plan focused on activating the Prospectus, making Loddon Mallee an appealing place to live, work, and study, by identifying high-value initiatives for both local and state government, alongside key industry stakeholders.
