Throughout 2023, Delos Delta worked with the Western Downs Regional Council to develop a Public Art Strategy 2023-2028, currently in draft phase.

The Strategy will guide the way public art is planned and delivered throughout the region, highlighting the Western Downs’ unique public art attractions, and celebrating local artists.  The Strategy seeks to support Council in promoting the vibrancy, accessibility, and diversity of public art works, while concurrently delivering cultural, social, and economic benefits to the region.

In consultation with Council, we prioritised key actions to support the successful implementation of the Strategy and the realisation of benefits throughout the Western Downs public art program.
