In 2024/25, Delos Delta worked with the City of Wanneroo (the City) to review its Council Plan at the midpoint of its lifecycle.

The Council Plan is the highest-level strategic document for the City with a long-term vision exceeding 10 years as stipulated by the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996.

The Council Plan engagement process began with a review of the existing Council, Liveability Survey results and key supporting documents to identify community priorities and shape the engagement approach. This ensured the process was evidence-based and built on previous consultation already undertaken by the City.

Comprehensive engagement was then delivered through a mix of online and in-person sessions including:

• Community Workshops
• Target Stakeholder Workshops
• Council Member Workshops
• Employee Workshops

The insights from these activities were consolidated into a final engagement report and presented to the Executives and Council to inform the next stage of the Council Plan.
