In 2023, Delos Delta worked with a local government client to deliver concurrent business reviews for two client-owned facilities.

Business Review

The Business Review sought to ensure that the facility’s management structure remained optimal to achieve the strategic goals held by both client and community.  Particularly, the Business Review investigated opportunities associated with the current governance structure, identifying opportunities for its improvement based on:

• Contextual and current state analysis, including of the strategic context
• Performance analysis and benchmarking
• Stakeholder engagement
• A review of comparable case studies, to identify best practices and possible alternative models

These culminated in the delivery of a series of conclusions and recommendations, to help the facility’s operational management and internal governance continue to deliver the best outcomes for both users and the broader community.

Business Model Review

The Business Model Review provided the client with a comprehensive review of the existing governance structure at their facility, which informed the provision of a series of recommendations to support the improvement of operational systems and reduce risk.

Delos Delta undertook a comprehensive review of the current state, including a detailed analysis of the broader regional, strategic, economic, and social context.  This initial review informed a detailed assessment of the current state of the facility’s governance and management model, including a review of operational performance.

Informed by stakeholder engagement, an analysis of comparable facilities, and a review of best-practice governance structures, Delos Delta worked with the client to deliver a series of recommendations to guide possible approaches to reform and improvement.
