Smart City Strategy
City of Casey

Delos Delta are excited to be partnering with the City of Casey as they develop a dedicated Smart City Strategy.

Council are seeking input from smart city vendors and suppliers to inform the design of the Strategy. To get involved, jump on the consultation homepage and click on the Industry Suppliers and Contractors Survey.

If you, or someone in your network, lives or works in the Casey area - encourage them to complete Council’s short Community Survey and share their ideas!

Smart Cities Week 2020

Smart Cities Week 2020 is happening now! The team at Smart Cities Council Australia New Zealand have put together an exciting suite of smart and informative sessions over the coming months.

Join Delos Delta and leading smart city experts on Tuesday August 4^th, from 11am – 12:30pm, for the inaugural virtual SCW Town Hall meeting.

SCCANZ are bringing together expert policy makers and practitioners including Delos Delta MD, Brook Dixon, to reflect on the smart cities agenda over the past 5 years, and where it goes next. We encourage you to attend what will be a great discussion.

Smart COVID Response
Central Coast Council

Central Coast Council have recently released their Draft Economic Development Strategy and Economic Recovery and Resilience Framework for public exhibition! Congratulations to Council on their hard work and proactivity in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.

Delos Delta are proud to have worked with Council to develop both the Strategy and the Framework. These documents will be used by Council to “Recover, Re-imagine, Revitalise and Rebound” the local economy.

Wodonga Innovation Project (WIP)
Youth Innovation Program

Delos Delta is proud of our continuing partnership with Wodonga Council and the Canberra Innovation Network to deliver the Wodonga Innovation Project (WIP)!

The forthcoming Wodonga Youth Innovation Program is the next big step for the WIP. In this 3 month practical program, expert facilitators will teach local youth how innovation can be used to tackle big problems and local challenges, and offer them a chance to pitch their ideas for prizes!

Talking Smart Cities with TheInformer

The Flexible Working Day Panel

On June 10, Brook Dixon, joined key smart city and innovation exponents from around Australia to deliver an insightful and interactive "Smart Cities Working Smarter" webinar!

The Panel was hosted by Vanessa Vanderhoek – an expert in agile/smart working. Vanessa and the Panel shed light on the best practices and opportunities in flexible working and smart tech – with emphasis on the dynamic, post-COVID19 business environment. Project Highlight
Clever Ballarat

Congratulations to the City of Ballarat on the progress of their Digital Living Lab! The new project is harnessing smart technology to help Lake Wendouree users make the most of their visits, change the way the lake is managed, and to provide a template to help the City work smarter across its operations.

Find out more about the successes of this Living Lab and plans for "a new era" of sensor-supported City activities here!

Ballarat have also begun including live data on environmental conditions and parking on their Open Data Platform.

In 2019 Delos Delta developed a "Clever City Acceleration Plan" for Council. We are excited by the ongoing commitment of Ballarat to smart cities and and their continued progress. Looking forward to what the future holds for the City.
